This will be the ultimate 50th celebration. 6 days with our founders, multiple stages for concerts, numerous cultural food areas, movies, cultural presentations, sports events, dining and coffee shops - all on the newly revamped Kona campus, the perfect setting to hang out with your YWAM family.

Come join us as we celebrate these past 50 years of God's love and faithfulness to Youth With a Mission while we look ahead to what He has in store. Join with past, present and future YWAMers from every corner of the globe as we see God's purposes fulfilled and that "the flame goes forward" for the next generations.

Everyone is invited

We are specifically inviting people from EVERY nation on earth to be a part of this. Current and former staff, students, alumni, teachers, friends of YWAM - basically anyone who wants to come. We welcome families, singles, couples. If you want to celebrate what God has done through YWAM in your life or the lives of others, then come join us.

Expect to meet new and old friends; strengthen relationship and get to know YWAM better; excellent teaching sessions; and a time spent giving God all the glory for what He has done.

Sessions

The content of the first 3 days will celebrate God's faithfulness to YWAM yesterday, today and tomorrow. Sessions will be arranged by Loren, Darlene, and other key YWAM leaders. Worship times will be led by notable musician's from YWAM's past and present.

The Event Begins - Monday evening 29th of Nov. and ends mid day Sat 4th of Dec with corporate meal.

Accommodations

For those who would like to sleep in a hotel or other rental accommodations locally, we have arranged special pricing with several locations in the Kona area. Here is the list of hotels and vacation rentals.

For those who prefer to stay at the campus, there will be camping areas available at low cost to Flame Goes Forward participants. YWAM Kona will house as many people as possible, using all the space we have available. Be sure to bring your sleeping bag and mat. We will provide tents, toilets, and showers.

Kona festivities

For this event, private rooms are not available on campus (see hotel options). We will have a place on our property where people can camp in tents.

Tents: 4 Days - $48, whole tent for 4 days - $240

Adult Pricing

You will be responsible for your own food costs with local vendors that will be on site at the UofN campus. Hotel costs are not covered in registration fees which are according to our "A, B & C nations" sliding scale:

Children's Pricing:

0-4 years old = FREE
5-17
years old pay 75% of normal rate which comes out to:

C $22.50

4th child and up (5-17 years) is FREE

Food

You will be responsible for providing for your own food. To encourage fellowship at the event and discourage any possibility of theft, there will be a "script" food ticket system where participant can purchase various levels of meal, snack and beverage tickets for use with the local food vendors and caterers that will be serving food on campus. Due to the limited capacity of our kitchen and dining area, cafeteria services at the campus are only available for current staff and students.

What to Bring

You will need to bring a sleeping bag, mat and pillow if you stay at the UofN Campus' camp grounds. And don't forget to bring your own stories of God's faithfulness and provision. There will be time for you to share. Feel free to bring pictures and videos to illustrate your stories. Swim suit, sandals, sun tan lotion.
